My name is Tina Bushyhead I am the interventionist at Ator elementary and I've been teaching for 19 years so I am a Owasso High School graduate year of 2000 I love Owasso so much and I grew up here as soon as I graduated college I knew this is where I wanted to be and I came back and start teaching in Owasso and I've been here ever since. My favorite things about teaching are building relationships with my students I just love being a part of the community and getting to know all the parents and students in our building and just watching my kids grow and learn every day. One of the things that I love more than anything is Disney so my kids know this was like the Disney room. I love coming in here and I like to look at all my pictures and they always bring me little Mickey things cause I know how much I love Disney World and it's just one of my favorite passions and I get to share that with my kids especially like my kiddos that may never get to go to Disney. We're excited decided to have Miss Bushyhead represent Ator Elementary you know she wears a lot of different hats for our school building not only is she our interventionist but she also is our our PTO president there's a lot of extra duties that she takes on willingly and just has just a great attitude about you know helping kids helping our teachers and whatever makes Ator better she wants and she goes out of her way to make sure that we have the things that our kids and our families need I think the thing that brings me the most joy about teaching its a really great opportunity for me to get to know students I get to spend a lot of time with them and I get to build a really great relationships with them as well as just helping them with math and helping them with a love of math a lot of student see numbers and problems and they think this is too hard I can't do it and I get the opportunity everyday just to work with them and help them learn to love math and we work on lots of different ways to figure out how to solve problems and I just love watching them learning everyday so growing up in Owasso I had some amazing teachers and that's really what inspired me to be a teacher along the way and just all throughout middle school and going to high school in Owasso like I knew that I wanted to be a part of our community being a teacher here in Owasso has been one of proudest moment and I'm so thankful every day I get to come here and do this job.
