Weekly Work Schedule

Here you will find a typical schedule of what we do on a weekly basis. 

 

MATH - Monday - Friday at the beginning of class we do "bell work". Bell work consists of 10 5th grade practice questions, ranging from division to geometry. The students have around 15 to 20 minutes to complete their bell work. We check the work together and the students offer up their answers as the whole class checks their work. 

 

I teach topics throughout the week, and on Fridays I give a small, 10 question quiz. The quiz includes 5 or 6 questions covering what I have previously taught, 1 or 2 word problems, and 1 or 2 questions on that week's topics.
